Yep, I agree with saddleninja. A few inches of warm water in the bath should do it. I bought a spare plug to use so that my corn can't get tangled in the chain while he's trying to escape. Also, every time I take mine out of the bath he poo's almost immediately...so be prepared! |

When i bath mine, i have the water about 2 inches deep, and just above lukewarm. easy way to do it i think is to feel the temp of your snake, and try to make it about the same, or a little bit warmer, but not to much. Mine are only ever in there for about 3-4 mins, they just sort of swim up and around the bath, with their heads poking out, and trying to creep up the sides to look for an easy way out. mine have been very active when in the bath, but calm down a bit when i remove them. I also have their towels ready, and i sit on them while they're in the bath, to warm it up, and when i take them out, they go in it, and it gets losely wrapped/scrunched up with the snakes head poking out. It then just sits on the sofa next to me, sometimes the snake will come out for a wander, other times it'll just chill and relax wrapped in the bath towel for a bit.
Obviously don't use any detergents of any kind, they probably don't like Lynx shower gel. :) Be careful of odds and sods in/around the bath that they could get caught up in, or knock over.
