Just wondering if people handle there snakes when shedding? Angelina is in shedding mode at the minute, not had blue eye yet but gone really pale etc
Is it still alright for me to handle her? I was going to carry on handling her til she had blue eye then leave her. What does everyone else do? Thanks for the help |

Shedding really doesn't seem to bother Wiggle and I have handled him during shedding and he's been fine, but I tend to leave him be anyway. |

Think it depends on the snake really, the males don't seem to mind being handled when they are blue, but the females make it obvious they aren't in the mood.
Time of the month eh? |

Blue is the only time I don't handle mine, the boys get a bit rattley but the girls just seem subdued. |

If she's happy to eat, it wont do her any harm. |

Tartan has always been happy to be held while shedding.
She usually squeezes herself between my hands and I end up with a full body shed through my fingers :P
I think Tartan's weird though as she's always eaten while she's shedding, even when she in the white eyed stage.
She's just evil |

Dusk is happy enough to be handled anytime but I guess its best to keep your movements extra slow as they can't see very well at this point. I always give Dusk a bath when his eyes clear to make his shed easier. |

Cyrus is definately ready to shed and does seem much jumpier than usual so I have left him alone. I have a little pot with a hole in the lid (3 inch diameter pot that had Hoi Sin sauce in for my duck pancakes yummy)I have filled it with sphagnum moss and he is coiled up in that as I type. |

Their appearance will dull, the eyes will cloud over, then the eyes will clear and a few days later they will shed. |
