| Wow, nice photos and what great taranualas. Love the golden knee. I have always wanted one but they are banned from this house! I even have to intervene to save house spiders and daddy longlegs from the insect pepellant! Not so sure about scorpions though. Have they ever stung you? |

Ive never been bitten or stung.
They're all pretty docile Tarantulas, the Emperor scorpion is very aggressive but i just keep my fingers away lol |

What are they like as pets?
Can you handle them pretty often?
I've never had a spider, probably because I would be worried about being bit. Do they give a warning before they strike like a snake s bends?
I got bit by a suspected white tail in Australia and my foot swelled up like I had elephantitius. It was so painful. Good job I was quite drunk at the time, otherwise it might have smarted a bit more |
