Hello I've got an escapee on the loose!
I've never had one before, but I have put my ability of collecting useless knowledge to good use and remembered a few tips that might help me find the little mite.
I've set masking tape traps along the walls and bottle traps with food inside randomly placed about. I've put down 3 boxes filled with aspen from her tank hoping she'll be attracted to her own scent and made sure there is plenty of water bowls around the room so that she doesn't dehydrate before I have chance to find her.
Just wondered if any one else had any ideas that I've not already thought of? I'll be gutted if I don't find her |

God I seriously dread if saphy got out, as I live in Block on an RAF base, also my mate next to me has a massive fear of snakes lol, so it would be maddness, hence why i put card wedges in the gap in the sliding door and then sellotape the wedges lol

they turn up in the end, found mine upstairs under the bed, just take care when you open closed doors in case they are behind them and the door opens onto them |

No, really, really worried now. I've set so many traps, I just can't believe she's not got stuck in any of them.
Trying to keep positive, but really scared now |

Yes I got her last Tuesday, she is pale pink with a yellow underside, really pretty with bright red eyes. going to take some photos of her next week when i can handle her to post to you guys. she is doing really well, fed great and very lively, she has taken to hiding under the chippings in her viv, which panics me abit at first coz you cant see her. she hasnt poop yet, not sure if i should be worried or not. xx |

hi Kazerella. hope you found your snake but if not try this; stand in the room and have a good look around quietly on your own. try to look and think of the most bizarre place in the room that is accessible to a snake. look at the tinyest of holes, gaps spaces. You know snakes , it may look impossible but they are escape artists. Look in places that seem completly absurd to you. I really hope you've got her back by now but if not don't give up. |

I agree with Kidda, try to think where it might be, if it hasn't been found already. Did you see the pic I posted from when mine escaped? I found it INSIDE my win98 tower!

I've heard that computers are quite popular hide outs! but, we've not found our snake yet. Think it might be inside a dehumidifier so taking that apart today. Wish me luck! |
