I'm thinking about getting a corn snake and am wondering how playing loud music in the same room affects it. If the loud music does affect it then what would be an acceptable level of music to play

Music is vibrations, louder the music, larger the vibrations. Snakes feel vibrations to sense for prey and danger. I think you'd end up with a confused and scared snake.

PS. Welcome to the forum, could you not have the snake in a room away from the music?

well I am pleased to hear it was Metallica, but would have preferred Maiden lol, Mr Tickle is in the living room and we regularly listen to Kerrang TV or CD's at quite a volume and he aint too bothered by it.
