Beech the fat amel, who I bought as a female, who has apparently laid eggs, IS MALE Ar$e! There goes my breeding trio of adult corns, dammit!!!
HE was advertised as female, I was assured HE was female on speaking to the owner, I was worried HE was a HE when I first saw him and the owners told me HE had laid eggs so must be female.
Fortunately I wasn't completely sure she was a she so kept him on his own (and for quarantine purposes) instead of putting him in with my Birch and Spruce, or it could have been a real mess! |

sorry to hear that, it's horrible when that happens especially when you hold back a few to breed & find out they're all the same sex
Well you'll have to buy another corn snake now |

I should be getting my pretty little 07 amel stripe FEMALE in a few weeks
I'm just P'ed off that I didn't go with my gut instinct that it was male, and now I'm quite attached to him, and given him a (unisex!) name and everything so I can't sell him on. Reading through the classifieds it always makes me feel a little sad to read 'had it 6 months, got it from 'so and so', they had it 6 months and got it from someone else, they had it 6 months etc' you get the picture! |

I wanted 2 breeding trios, I'll have to settle for 3 breeding pairs instead. |
