I'm wondering how often I can expect a one year old corn to shed. Sophie last shed 2 weeks ago, and her eyes are turning blue again already. She's feeding regularly on 2 fuzzies per week, and I'm guessing she's growing fast at the moment. Her 'logbook' when I bought her showed sheds around a month apart over the last year.
Anyone else with yearlings, how often do yours shed?
babies usually shed every 5 or 6 weeks as they get older it slows down. Your corn at a year old may shed every 6 - 8 weeks on average until its next birthday. I would think at a year old your snake should at least be on small mice ? mine were on small mice at 6 months plus, but they are all different. Have you tried moving up to small mice ?
Well, Sophie is a sneaky one. I put her mice in, covered her tank, and came back half an hour later to find a shed skin and both mice gone! I think she waits until no-one is looking.
