Great collection
the term royal comes from there latin Python regius which translate to Royal Python but i have also read that they were named Python regius because of Cleopatra.
they are also known as ball pythons as im sure you know due to there tendency to curl into a ball when treatened

I heard they're called Royals of their coloring something to do with it being royal colours :S :S
They're fantasic snakes, as long as you get a CB one thats feeding fine.
