hi everyone, im so excited, yesterday i bought my first new baby corn who is gorgeous, the pet shop gave me the starter setup including plastic viv im just a little concerned, last night my baby was very active and exploring his new environment as i watched him for about 2 hours on and off lol but he then decided to lay in his water bowl and when i came down this morning he was still there in his water then he eventually came out and has now layed under the substrate where he has not moved from is this a normal behaviour i didnt recieve a thermometer from the pet shop which im now going out to buy i was just a bit worried about him laying in his water all night

I wouldn't worry too much. They often just find a nice place to rest and then doss there all day.

Like Saddleninja says, he could just be ready for a shed

but, just in case keep a check on the water bowl when he's left it. Sometimes if they have mites they lay in water a lot. You'll see little black floaters in the bowl if he's got them. (Sorry if I'm scaring you, he probably hasn't, but it's worth knowing just in case)

i had a royal from free adds once that had mites and i tried loads of cures, but the thing that works best if any of yours got mice is frontline for dog fleas
