6 weeks is fine, depending on how big they are and how fast they are growing. It'll come soon, Don't worry

The only thing you can do is bath him really. Sometimes it helps.

Don't worry too much. Shedding does take time, but snakes usually sort themselves out in their own time.

Gizzy my 2yr old tom had a great love for my western hog nose when she died good friday and EFFIE my 2year old corn has now taken the place GIZZY my cat sits as close as poss to my tank and BLOWS IN THE AIR HOLES Effie will respond and put his head as close as possible they then go all round the tank blowing and loving each other the outside of the tank is quite wet and smeared and the inside is the same at times THEY JUST LOVE EACH OTHER FOR REAL

Excellent, my cat has never shown any interest in any of my tanks or viv. Everry so often she'll see them moving, but will have a glance then lay back down as if to say, 'pfft snakes behind glass, not very fun'.
The only time she was interested in any of my tanks was when she found out how lovely and warm the lid of my fish tank was.
But, I love my lazy cat too.

Sounds as if he'll shed today or tomorrow, they become a bit more active right before.

It's weird about the cat thing. The only interest any of my snakes have made of other pets is Nagini eyeing up the goldfish. Don't think she's really interested in being friends with them though
