i changed to a 90x18x18 (inches) wen chester was just over 2 foot thinking he was to big for the rub and i didnt think he would mind it.
however....
i have just built him a 60x15x15 viv cos i didnt feel that he was happy in there after about 3 months, cos of his lack of activity. he was still feeding ok and did come out but only wen his light was off where as he used to bask in his rub alot. put it down to it being to open. after all snakes are agrophobic.
he is in his new viv and we shall se how it goes

use the rule of

length of viv + depth= snakes total length

hope this helps

I was thinking somewhere in the region of a three foot viv. but don't want to change too soon and stress him out. Maybe wait a few months yet.

Scott, I had one of those and they are fine, the only thing I would say is that as they are all-glass and snakes can be agoraphobic it may be wise to put some backing onto a couple of the sides so that your snake feels more secure.

Was thinking about getting some backing paper just to make it look abit more natural with a few suction cup plants hanging from different heights.

Used to keep tropical fish so seen some really nice backgrounds and been told that I could use silk flowers with the stalks going through a suction cup so that they hang down.
