I candled the eggs last night (7 days) and all 10 are fertile and seem to be doing well

I thought i'd add a few pics of the candled eggs

cool ive never seen a egg like that befor


cb07 - male - corn snake
cb07 - male - red tailed boa
cb06 - female - salmon pink tarantula
wc - male-female - asian forest scorpions
indian stick insects
2 african land snails

soon to be mine-
4 red bellied toads or a emperor scorpion cant decide :P

cb07 - male - corn snake

I never bothered candling mine but in hindsight I should have really, great pics lindsei!

Pics of my eggs candled at 17 days. All still doing fine







Its hard to see from the pics but there are alot more veins and they are alot thicker now.

I just let all Birch's eggs sit in the incubator then was really disappointed when a lot were duds (but not obvious slugs) good on you for candling and being prepared!

thnx everyone, all my friends think im a bit of a geek coz when i get into something and im interested in it, i like to learn as much as i can and can get quite obsessed with it all thought i'd better candle them coz as you said ginger would have been gutted if they where slugs. Already collecting milk bottle tops lol only bout 50 days to go

Right, im getting a bit worried now cos my eggs seem to be deflating! I've given them a light misting of water and was just wondering if there is anything else i could do. Today is day 30 and up until 2 days ago they were looking perfect, nice and full, white, dry and no dints. Now they are still everything but are dimpling quite badly i can put a pic up if that'll help
