I opened the viv earlier and harry darted out like a rocket and fell about a meter straight down? he seems ok but was just wondering if he is ok?

has this ever happened to anyone?

mine do it, if i lift the lid to clean or whatever im doing, especially doc, he curls himself around the lifted lid so its hard to see him then i'll hear a thud n he's fallen down the back of the viv, he's always been fine but still tries to do it agan :)

*embarrassed* yes I've dropped mine before too, landed on carpet and had no adverse effects *sheepish*
cornsnakes, ratsnakes, bullsnakes, boas and day geckos

A metre should be alright, think everyone's done it.

Just think how far they would fall in the wild if they decided to climb an hay barn ladder
