Well we blinked and missed it. We knew he was coming up to shedding as eyes had gone cloudy and he was looking really dull, so we put in a moss hide for him, plus he already had a piece of bogwood too. Last night we did our clean out and refreshed water for all of them and an hour later checked to see if Pecan had had his pinky and there in the middle of Peanut's tub was his whole skin in one piece incuding eye caps...........I couldn't believe how quick it all happened and we missed it!!!!! He's looking fantastic and bright again now

Really like the fighters they look so mean but they're about 2" long lol.

My favourite out of those is the purple butterfly halfmoon.

Thanks for showing some pics - good luck with the babies

Hi and thanks. All depends on tail type and colour. I sold a Feathertail recently for £30!!!!!! In general though you can pay anywhere from £5....usually shop bought and they tend to only have Veil tails. Halfmoons you can get from about £10 upwards. We sell our juvie males for £6.50 as they haven't developed the full tails yet and it's difficult to predict exactly whether they will turn into Halfmoons or Superdeltas. They really are beautiful fish and have loads of personality!!!! The only down side is that all the males have to be housed separately because they will fight and kill each other. Females can be kept in large groups but can be little cows too lol
