My snake stopped eating roughly 5 weeks ago, tried on usual times but still will not eat, she has lost a lot of weight and i am really concerned, recently heard it is not mating season so she wont be hesitant from that. Her scales have become slightly flared out and flakey on the bottom at the edges, taking her to pet shop tomorrow but if anyone has had the same problem, im all open to suggestions. she's just ignoring the food.

Have you tried braining the mouse? Heating it up? Causeing it to bleed? How old is she?

Keep us up to date, and tell us what the pet shop says.

The person we know at the pet shop says shes preggers and yes now ive been told i can see where the eggs are and can feel them as i run my hand down the snake (like little soft marbles). Turns out my brothers snake is a male. We were unable to probe him before so looks like thats what he is

Bought some moss, just need an ice cream tub and she'll have her egg laying den up! Fits all the symptoms of being pregnant and is very restless, but thats as shes searchin for a place to lay :)
Ty for reading and showing concern. much appreciated
