Hi, I bought my amel corn Houdini 4 weeks ago, the lad I bought him/her from had lost him/her for 6 months, and when he/she was found was obviously a bit small for its age, Houdini was and is feeding well I have just upped him/her to fuzzies and he/she is just about to shed, but the most puzzling thing is he/she has not passed a motion in the 4 weeks that I have had him/her, I have seen it drink and as I said it feeds really well, any suggestions? |

he's probably absorbing all the nutrients from each meals, leaving very little to pass out the other end........ has he got a bulge in front of his vent at all, or does it feel harder there compared to the rest of his body? |

Thanks for the advice I just checked, he is soft all along his body, and there are no bulges by his vent! |

it may be that where he may be he's abosorbing everything he can, there may not be enough solid left in order to keep the urea in his stool solid, therefore he probably is passing urea, just may not be visible.
Also, concidering urea passes through as an extreamly powdery white substance, it's probbaly in there, jsut can't see it :) |
