Hey guys,
I've had my corn for about 7 months now and i think she's about 9-10 months old. But, as im sure many of you will understand, im dying to get another one! I really fancy an anery but the ones at my local shop dont look much like the pics i've seen online. Are there different variations of anery morphs? I would ideally like one that has really strong black saddles rather than the greyish brown ones they have at the shop. Will the markings get stronger with age or will they remain brownish?
My other question was about cohabiting...I've read the thread on here about housing two corns together and am aware that at this stage it would be a terrible idea as they are at very different stages of growth (the one i want is a tiny baby). But later in life when they are at similar sizes would housing them together be a possibility?
Any advice would be great!

anery's come in a couple of different 'formats'
type A http://iansvivarium.com/morphguide/anerya.php
type B http://iansvivarium.com/morphguide/aneryb.php
type C http://iansvivarium.com/morphguide/aneryc.php

A's are the most common although there is quite a bit of variation with each type, just keep looking till you find one that you like (i'm an anery fan, my first corn was an anery )

as for co-habiting........... big debate! i do, most of mine are paired up permanently BUT it's carefully done and carefully monitored and not everyone is prepared to risk things. have a very good read of this thread http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1070 to make an informed decision (although it won't need to be made for a while yet )

Cheers for the advice GP. Yeah i definitely will be keeping them separate until they are a similar size. Another question though, if i do get another snake and the two of them are kept separately their entire lives will i have issue trying to put them together two or three years down the line? Will they not fight?
Hmm either way, ive got the corn snake bug and am itching to get another one. Im even thinking about names already! lol. even if housing them together eventually isn't an option it'll be fine, i'll just have to fork out for two massive tanks :)

Anery's rock. so pretty!

the black will fade to grey on anerys as they get older, some will show brown/pink tones but all will lose that hatchling jet black colour :(
