I was gonna get perspex but shopped around and got glass for £1 more than the perspex was gonna cost me.
Go to www.yell.com and do a search in your area for glaziers. If you want your edges polihed it will cost more, but the glaziers usually sand the edges a bit anyway to make it safe to handle, then I just used some fine wet n dry (used it dry) and just shaped the edges enough to make it safe for snakey.
My quotes for toughened glass with polished edges were between £30 and £60 for 2 pieces, in the end it cost me £12.08 with out polished edges. I found a place that toughen their own glass too.
i got qouted £111 for 8 sheets of toughened glass to fit a 15inch high viv but mine will be 18" so can i add a 3" wooden strip at the top? as the 3" of glas for 8 pieces is costing £50
what are exact dimensions I will ask where i got mine to see if your prices are crazy or not ;) obviously I cannot buy it for ya lol, but will give you an idea of how much it could cost, if ya know what I mean.
dimensions, how many pieces and thickness ie 4mm etc, will call em tomorrow
