Ok there is currently a thunderstorm in my part of sunny Essex! My village is renowned for power cuts! If there is a power cut wat should I do about the heat mat???

Not alot you can do really, i guess it's like the freezer just don't open it? maybe even stick a blanket over the viv to keep the heat in?

you could be super-safe and unplug it till the power comes back on (although i never do)

have you got a hot water bottle? you can use that as a temporary heat source but it should only just feel warm to us to be safe for your snake
cornsnakes, ratsnakes, bullsnakes, boas and day geckos
