Should be finished building my viv mid week and i was wondering about the heat mat. Do I stick it down with anything or do you just place them in then cover them with ya substrate? Mines a wooden viv
Hi mick i tape the edges down on my mat,so the corn cant get under it,just overlap the tape a few times to make sure its really stuck down onto the viv. Hope this helps.
Mick, imo i wouldn`t use tape. I posted a thread last week about a hide box that had glue in it and my Tynan got stuck to it, Wasn`t nice seeing him trying to get off. Ripped his skin off. I wouldn`t use anything in a viv that has a possibilty of coming unstuck and the snake getting stuck to it. Just something to think about.
