from the user manual - NOT WORD FOR WORD. 1) connect phone via usb 2)open media manager 3) on phone chose media transfer in usb mode
I done that, but I can't connect my phone to computer through media manager..

Hi Hillzi If its anything like the other Sony Ericssons I've had, I never ever used the media manager software to add songs etc. When you plug your usb lead the phone should show some option, you want the file transfer one. Then just go into "My Computer" on your pc and look at the drives in there, i.e (C) drive is your hard drive. there should be one there called phone, or phone card or sumit like that. Just go in there and find the music file then copy and paste the toonz into that file ;) you can find all your pics and vids etc in there to if you wanna remove or ad any.
Hope that helps bud ;) |

I have had a few SE phones and have splashed, dropped and bashed them all (not on purpose) and had no trouble with them even had one fall out of my pocket whilst running and I kicked it across the car park and that one lasted another 1.5 years till i changed it. I think they are very strong reliable phones, in my opinion, and I dont insure mine But better safe than sorry |

Dan got in a strop... No I was at the park and it fell on the grass twice (I found an old bike, and tried to fix it, but got oily hands) and I didn't want to get it wrecked so was holding it gently, but slipped out twice.
The classic for me is having in in a hoodie pocket, and whilst going to the loo, it slipping out and into the toilet
Although my old nokia 6300 survived being frozen in slush for 2 nights; the only thing it didn't do after that was vibrate.
cheers guys. |

Hillzi,
I use the media manager stuff and its OK once you get used to it. Have you got itunes? If you have, there's a free download program that gets itunes to recognise certain phones so you can download music to them that way. I can't remember the name off the top of my head but I can find it if you're interested.
I'm a bit boring with phones so have only ever had SE as I really rate the camera and the ability to make the outlook download to the phone is really handy for work. The only problem I have had with them is keyboard failures after about 18 months, but I'm usually due a free upgrade then anyway so its not really a show stopper. |
