You would have to hold them close to the end to make them close properly, which makes it a bit pointless. Just get yourelf some really cheap BBQ tongs. |

I agree. I use BBQ tongs, there's no point paying for the reptile brand ones. |

I cheat with chopsticks, i put a peg spring about 3 inches down, it makes the ends touch so i just put a small bit of pressure on the top and they open.
I just cannot get the hang of 'em. |

My local chinese makes them idiot proof, they work for me. A bit of paper stuffed at the top and tied round with rubber bands, just clack them together to make them work. but as i can't use them - knife and fork all the way!!
I'd just go with the repti plastic tongs, I got some Zoo Med ones for 99p. Hehe, but they did come with the set-up, i was nosey and bored so price checked them.
Would a BBQ tongs grip a bit too much on a pinkie? Or, head down to your local 99p store/£ land whatever you call it; and pick up a pair of cheep tweezers, just make sure theyr'e not too sharp and with pressue wouldn't cut your mousey.

no it's not the BBQ tongs gripping tightly.............. it's the person holding them, lol |

How long do the feeding tongs have to be? couldn't you just use a normal pair of tweezers |

I use forceps, but have got some tongs on the way. Rizla actually struck hard last time and coiled for the first time ever. Quite impressed with how bl***y fast he was. He's normally so laid back. |
