hi i dont change the water everyday as im not there much to change the water and i only use tap water is this a problem? :D

I just got my snake yesterday but the folks who had him were using tap and he seems very healthy. I am using bottled water tho, just what I prefer to do. I think you can leave the water for maybe 2 days, but not 100% sure about that, just going from what I've read on here.

yea i use bottled water when i have some but still i dont change it much. btw your snake has nice big eyes lol

Tap water with a change every 2 days should be fine. If your using aspen, it will get dirty faster than if you use something like newspaper.

i got advised against using tap water because of some minerals in the water so i use bottled water

I use tap water.
Mineral/bottled tends to make my snakie poos a bit more runny. (this could be coincidence that i've just tried bottled.)

As it happens, Trio doesn't like it. Weird snake.

Personally I use Tesco value still water. Only 13p for a 2 litre bottle and I change it every other day.

Fortunately Alice doesn't poo in her water bowl like some snakes prefer to do!
