you have that game? what are you playing it on? they did come out with a version for windows, but it was crap
i used to trade to get the biggest ship...funnily enough the python was my fave ship.....the biggest ship was to slow, though it was good in battle cos i rarely got shot down...and could make money with cargo..
did you go to any of the places like Alpha Centauri? |

Several visits to Alpha, assassination missions mainly.
I went to the adder when i first started, but then moved to the osprey, now the Kestrel.
I have done the Jettison rubbish trick to get stupid amount of cargo space, so have now got a huge hyperdrive and lovely weapons.
I'm playing the PC version, as that's the one i've got.
There are better machines to play it on, but i no longer have my Amstrad.  |

where did you get the pc version from? and is it for windows 95?
yes i have done assassinations..lol..

I bought the PC version on ebay about 8 or 9 years ago.
used it on win98, win2k and now running on winxp.

xb360 is epic online though.
 Plus you get more games on 360 - Halo, GoW etc etc
Whatever comes on ps3, 99.9% will be on 360.  |

why bother using anything else but a pc? seriously? for the same amount as a stupid ps3 or xbox you can do up a comp nicly and play so many thing that are SOOOOO much better! My computer has a nicer graphics card than an xbox 360 for quite a bit lessthan that stupid thing. And guess what? I cna use the itnernet, make custom content on thingS like sims, download films without getting jumped in by microsoft....

tbh. age of empires...
You can't get GOW on PC. Nor can you play any cod's without getting owned much.

I completely agree with you nonetheless.. I have a powerful PC that can run any game on high and run a good LAN on; but the 360 IS cheaper.
I have both, and I use both.
The 360 is better for the social side though, as I only regularly play with a few mates on the PC.
But as for retro.. Then Megadrive!!
