It had been such a nice day up to the point when one of my children pointed out that tom in not in his viv, hardly a rare occurrence not being able to see him he is known for burrowing so not really thinking much i have a look my self and with an increasing feeling of dread realise that the child is in fact right and tom has escaped :( looked everywhere next step there is a small gap in a floor board behind the viv floor boards have now got to come up just hope he is ok |

Big grins all round Tom found all curled up under some clean washing after lifting two rooms worth of floor boards, frozen solid and a raised scale not sure why yet just can't stop smiling :) :) :) :) |

Great news, and fair play to you for taking the floor boards up after the snake. |

congrats on finding him so swiftly. Now you need to figure out how he escaped. Unless you've got one of those snakes that can teleport through glass/plastic. |

He seems ok, just fed with great enthusiasm he must have teleported through the glass since the glass doors where shut and nobody knew anything, hmmm smells a rat put some wedges in the glass though just in case he shut the door after he got out :) |

Yea wedges don't work to well, if I lock them up they won't be able to get close :) |

I'll be honest though it's more likely he has just got strong enough to move the glass and I probably closed the glass door inadvertantly |

so glad you found your corn quickly..
i lost one of my corns last week and she got through a hole i would never imagine she could have done.
My glass doors are not that good either, but i have them well wedged with cardboard and a double wedge.
She has not yet tried to go that route., |
