my corn snake laid eggs on my heat mat about 12 hours ago and i,ve only just found them. ive put them in an incabater now i was just wondaring will they be dead?

theres a chance they will be but if they havent got all crinly then you might be looky. makesure they are white and squidgy not yellow and crinkly

they a little squidgy and some parts are hard and crinkly they are off white coler should i take a chance of trying to hatch them? or would i be waisting my time. thanks brookestar

i would take a chance. i was in a similar situation mine was laid in water and it was hit and miss wehter they would survive. unfornunatly 5 of the 7 died and even more upseting was because i didnt plan on eggs as i thought both were male i had no incubator so i had to keep them in the viv but my male corn curled up under the box and knocked it over so all will probs be dead but i kept them just in case.
wont hurt to give them a chance

any pics? try searching for 'slugs' and that should bring up a few pics of what to look for in good/bad eggs

cornsnakes, ratsnakes, bullsnakes, boas and day geckos
