i got a glass viv set up for my corn and ive currently got it setup on the outside of my tank. but i cannot hold any air temperature inside my tank as my house is very cold, it juset seems to go straigh up out of the wents. ive now covered them with plastic to see what happens but i dont think it will make so much of a differance. is there any ways i can heat my tank up more efficiently using my heat matts or should i get a more powerfull one or move it?

any suggestions welcome, i hope that made sense.

hi and welcome, you wont heat the air temp with a mat,as long as the temp where the snake is laying is ok then thats fine, just take your readings from ontop of the substrat above the mat.
