i recently baought a butter corn from my rep shop and when i got him home i left him for the night and in the morning tried to hold him. i have had him for a week now and when ever i go near his viv or try and pic him up his tail vibrates and he has even struck at the side of the tub. any ideas what i can do?

Just persevere really. He'll calm down in time as soon as he realises you aren't a threat.

Handle quite often, but not for long. Don't be afraid as corn bites don't hurt. Once he gets used to your scent he'll be alright.

Put a sock in his viv so he has more chance to get used to your smell and handle wearing gloves or through a pillow case for a while if it's easier.

i did this with my baby when she was like this and she is fine now
