Hi all just thought this might be of some help to newbies who have an amel for the first time mine went into shedding colours at the beginning on the month which if yours are like mine they turn a pink & lilac colour then goes into blue stage then returns back to normal colours which is when at this point i started to get worried as i could not see any signs of a shed this afternoon went to give him fresh water and bingo there was his shed all 41/2 foot of it and in one piece so all i,m saying is dont worry when your amel goes back to normal it will after a few days hope this helps anyone. As i believe this how we learn by telling others about our experiences with snakes...........ian
