Are caves/hides/ornaments that are intended for aquarium use OK to use with snakes? I found a skull in Pets at Home today that I WANT for when snakie arrives at the weekend but only if it's safe for the little fella.

i guess you just gotta make sure your snake won't get stuck in the skulls eye sockets etc. i'm sure it's happened to someone on here before.

what other caves etc. for fish you looking at? got any pics?

It was this kind of thing - not these exact one, but some of these were also on the shelves. I was looking at logs, caves, that kind of thing. And OK yeah, the goth castle to go with the skull :o Shoot me, I'm an old goth at heart! But I realise the goth castle isn't suitable.

Skulls and skull items do make good decorations, but as theonlyDarrenEver said, we did have someone on here whose snake got stuck in an eye socket, so it may be worth just keeping an eye out on the size of the snake in comparison to the holes in the decor.
They do look good though.
