I heard/read that you can determine corns sex from their clocoa region?
That males have a more diagonal line where their cloacoa is which where it stops and the tip of the tail is.
And females is more rounded off, not sure if this is true.
Sorry can't get a picture of it my male wont stay still enough but if anyone knows anything about this, appreciate replies.
Know my boy's a boy, good probe proved that but just for future reference so do not have to trek out to bordon to the local repti vet. |

Mhmm I agree but the tail bit gives a good idea, due to shape of reproductive organs, but not 100%.
Also I think it said it works better when theyr'e older but might be a bit too late if corns are housed together if they decide to get it on. Lol. |

you can use tail length/shape to sex but it's not very accurate, you can also use a scale count but (deja vue) is't not very accurate. best off getting them probed by an experienced person if they're old enough |

An experianced snake owner and myself scale counted Dusk and compared him to females and he was a she until he was popped. Therefore from personal experiance, tail shape and scale count can be wrong. If this question is posed because you are thinking of putting 2 together and want them to be the same sex then probing is needed incase mistakes happen. |

I tried to compare tails shapes and thought Monty was a she, however the way he behaves in mating season makes me believe he is a he.
I've never had him probed becuase I wasn't that bothered but theres an idea at the back of my mind about breeding with him so I might get it done now. |
