As many of you might know I am moving house and the snake is coming with me. So when he's on my desk in my new room... Should I give him time to acquire the new sights and smells, well I wont smell any different so he would be calm around me.. or is best to leave him for a week?
Another one; When you upgrade a snakes viv is it best to give them a week or so to settle in, or isn't any different from say their old one?
cheers, Tom. |

Yes, give the snake a week to settle itself down again. If you are going to give it a larger viv, either do it straight away (before giving it time to settle in to the new view) or a month+ after it being in the new house.
How are you planning to transport the snake? |

I am not transporting him in a RUB filled with aspen. His rub will be on my lap in the car not in a removal lorry. House is only 20 minutes away from my current location anyway.
The set his viv up in my new house then in he goes Probably wont need an upgrade for at least a year yet anyway just thinking a tad ahead
Thanks Matty

It used to take Monty 3 - 4 days to settle down after moving house. I'd give him a week just to be sure. |
