I currently have a microclimate Ministat 100 with heat mat and want to uprgrade//change over what i sbest to get? i have a 4 year old sunny corn snake (called fanta)

I've just bought a Habistat dimmer stat. I am intending to unplug my heat mat and just use the light for heat (its a red bulb) and I'm fitting some LED's to provide some background lighting but that purely aesthetic.

I'm gonna leave the heat mat in though incase I need a bigger bulb or in case the bulb goes and I haven't got a spare. That way I can plug the mat in and have some heat whilst I get it all sorted.

I have been thinking about a ceramic heater but I haven't got that far yet.
