Hey guys a quick question about Beardies and Shedding, i just got in from work and bowser could hardly see with all the skin hanging off all over his face God love him lol. So i decided ti help.. im presuming its ok to give them a lil hand... i got stacks off round his head and all down his body.. wont do him any damage will it?

it's generally better to leave beardies be when they're shedding.
Provided they have a decent bowl to be able to go in if they want, and a few nice areas to scratch on, they'll get it off.

Mine take about 2 days to shed most of it, but usually see smaller bits for a couple days afterwards as well.

You'll see them eat the skin when they do get it off, how yummy must that be?

Helping can pull off the scales underneath so just better to leave them to it really. My beardies like to be misted (just squitred with a plant sprayer filled with water) and i do this more often when they are shedding. One of them also likes to go fo a swim so if he's having trouble i give him a bath - tother one hates it so i don't think its worth stressing him out.

I personally help Cooper a bit. But only with the skin that's hanging off him. I never try and peel off already dead skin that hasnt detached, as that can damage the scales underneath. But no, taking off the hanging dead skin shouldnt hurt them :)

Yea it was only skin that was like hanging down from under his belly and chin and stuff
