righto, my corn is about 7months old now i think and is still on pinkies (every thursday i feed 3 mice).
i know alot of people on this forum have snakes the same sort of age and have been on pinkies for a while.
to me my snake looks pretty thin and i'm not sure whether to try him on thursday with a fuzzy or not :\ i'm trying to get a photo of him next to a penny and a 5p so you can see how thick his body is but i'm having problems getting him out of the faun at the mo. he's not playing ball :(
i just fed my girlfriends milk snake a fuzzy and she's a bit thicker than my snake and she has a large bump where the mouse is now.
whats everyones thoughts on this? sorry if i ranted on a bit :$ |

| As long as the fuzzy is not more that 1.5 times the girth of your snake at it widest point it should be fine, they can handle more than you'd think. |

| hmm i'm not sure if the fuzzies are 1.5 x the size of the snakes widest point to be honest. he doesn't seem to be getting any thicker :( |

| Sounds gross but you can always roll the fuzzy out abit to make it longer and thinner (like a playdough sausage) |

| Fed our 6 months old its first fuzzy at the weekend after been on double pinkies for ten weeks i was also a little worried it might be a little big for her but no problems:) |

| hmm how wide is your snake? mine really isnt that wide at all!! i may try him to see if he takes it.. is that a good idea or could he get hurt by trying to eat it? |

Hi, we moved James on to three pinkies per feed for a month or so, and then tried him with a fuzzie. He had trouble getting a grip on the mouse at first, but managed to get it down no problems, although it did take him a little longer! It's surprising how much they can easily manage

| i just tried smokey with a smallish fuzzy, but was still quite a bit bigger than a pinky. he wolfed it down with no problems!! i think i'll try to get hold of some more smaller fuzzies and try him on those for a while :D thanks for your help!! |

| oh and he almost constricted!! he kind of laid his body over the mouse but didnt wrap around it. i think he'll do it sometime soon :D |
