i know i havent been on for a while my lovely son has lost my dongle lol last time i was on beauty was about to shed she did it no problems. but she has shed twice sine then. thats 3 times in nearly as many months is this normal? she was put into a bigger viv when we got her and she has recently went frm fuzzies to medium mice she seems her usual self im just abit worried that she is sheddin abit to often!!!!

Hatchlings shed quite often as they are growing quickly. As they get older their growth rate will slow and so they will shed less frequently as they age.

Please also note this isn't a text message and you don't get charged by the length of the message so please avoid text-speak it's hard to read for us oldies who would otherwise love to help

she is only about 20months old so she is still pretty young. so i probably shouldn't be to worried. thanks for the info.

There is no time between sheds.. they just shed as they grow, some grow quicker than others. Noodle only shed 4weeks ago and hes starting to Shed again. Its nothin to worry about.. he wouldnt Shed for no reason :)

Thanks for the info, just got 1 last thing! The first time she shed when we had her she got the skin off in 1 but the past two times it has come off in lots of small bits and I had to bath her to remove what she couldnt get off herself is there any way I can help her get it off in one piece?

it was having this problem to! i took him to my local rep shop and they told me to give him a good soaking and keep the humidity up! so it did and the very same night he shed a perfect shed :D

Hi, to help keep the humidity up we've started giving James a damp moss hide in his viv when we notice he is going into shed, ie. when his eyes are blue or we notice his skin is looking dull.

He has used this wet hide every time it has been in, and every time it's been there has had a perfect shed! Before we upped the humidity we had a real problem with James and his shedding, tail tip left on every time! So would definitely recommend raising humidity any way you choose and see if that helps

Mine always breaks but he never gets stuck to him. I don't use a moss hide though.
