When ever I move my mouse, the speakers make that anoying static noise, its doing my head in

Is that on a laptop? or a secondary amplified speakers?

I used to get it when I scrolled down on webpages. I ended up muting everything until I figured out what was doing it. Turned out to be the spdif.

But then how will I listen to the amazing new Franz Ferdinand album over and over again?

Phil, its not a loptop. As for what type of speakers, no idea.
