My daughters' corn snake is acting very odd....She is acting like she is a cobra! shes coming out her hide and standing to attention. When I go over to her she then reverses into her hide....My daughter has not had her snake long and i am not sure what she is doing.
What is directly above where she's standing? My snakes do it if there's something above them that they try to reach. One of my tall rubs had a hatch slap bang in the middle of the lid, Sid used to do the same thing when she was trying to reach that.
Our snake does this also i think its just having a look round, then if you go near viv does a quick reverse. She is ok when out and been handled. Might just be natural to check coast is clear before venturing out.
