| Is there a general rule to how long you should take your snakes out for at a time and how often during the day. I know not to for 48hrs after feeding. I just wondered if there was a limit? |

| Hi Piskey, Im probably being stupid but what are Betta's ? We are very new to corns like yourself, but we get Rosa out every day (other than the 48 hours after feeding) for about ten minutes, if that helps at all. |

Bettas are Siamese Fighting Fish.....These are a few of our males which we use for breeding.

I used to do that, it's amazing to watch them build the nest out of bubbles.
I also decided that the red males were more placid than any other colour. Blue ones seemed to be the most angry.
They're wicked fish, i just hate the way that they're kept in shops, for some reason people think they can't be mixed with other 'pretty' fish.
I used to keep a red male in a tank with about 20 guppies and most of them were male, never had any problems. |

| Wow they are great, so beautiful. are they tropical fish ? We currently have 3 fantail goldfish and a pleccy. thanks for that piskey. |

| Rie....yes they are tropical. All the males are in separate tanks and the females are all together.....although they can be just as nasty with each other as the males. Watching them spawn is amazing though....I was glued to the spawning tank for days in case I missed something!!!! |

| Ooops forgot to say thanks to everyone for the info. Peanut came out today for about 15 minutes and had a good nose around. Looks like he is settling in really well so far. |

He seems quite happy when he's out...15 mins at the moment. Just enough time for him to dump on me  Is this quite a commom thing and will he grow out of it? |

| rosa did that once like all of a sudden but i was 1 step ahead and just held ma arms out so it went over the carpet insteed. (mum wasn't realli impressed lol) |
