my corn snake always seems to be freezing when i take him out he is about to shed and is usually in the moss box but i am worried how cold he is any ideas?

mines always ontop of moss when shes about to shed end of day is shes to cold she knows where her hot hide is

Just leave her to do her thing till she sheds, she will move between the heat the moss box and the cooler side as she needs to. It might just be that when you get her out she was in the moss or cooling down. Check your temperatures under the hide on the warm side, it should be 30*C but if you have an on/off thermostat it can drop to around 24*C before it goes back up to 30*C.

the viv is about 75 ,just under 30, i had a few ideas back from some other people and they said i dont need a moss box. He seems fine when i do take him out and sometimes goes back under the warm hide when i put him back in. thank anyway J
