Noodle shed again last night and had some trouble with it, i put a rub in his viv with moss and he seems to have got it all off. i thought it was a bit soon for him to shed again as the last time was only about a month ago, but i know why now because he seems to have hurt himself. it looks like he had lost a scale on the top of his head. not sure if u can see very well from the pic, but should i take him to see a vet or should it heal ok? thanks

looks like im squeezing the life outta him but really i wasnt

it may heal over on the next shed but a vet trip wouldnt hurt, maybe see if theres anyting you can put on it to prevent possible infections

Yes, that will heal, might take a while though. Best off going to the rep shop and getting some wound cleaner/anticeptic just in case, but if it's kept clean it should be alright.

Yeah, and we he has a poopie or a wee make sure it's out straight away. sounds like common sense but prevents infection and if i were you I'd clean out the viv every 3 weeks to stop any nasties getting in there.

Hope he gets well soon

i had that problem with star a few years ago on a really bad shed, vet told me its nothing to worry about as it will come off next shed. Its the eyecaps that are one of the things to really worry about.

yup something like Tamodine to put on it or just leave it alone as it's not an open wound. it may take a few shed to go back to normal but don't worry
