Just general animal cruelty laws. They are protected over them.
You could look into live feeding. That would be an interesting one. There's a lot of hazy bits in the legislation for that. It's not actually illegal to feed your snake live food, but then there's the cruelty to the mouse to consider too, as you could be in trouble for causing undue pain and stress to the mouse.
Look into it- I bet there's loads you could write about for that.
i have to do a similar assignment, havent choosen what to do it on yet, lots of people are doing it on corn and leos, so i was going to do mine on hognose snake......which should be interesting as i want one lol
