When the eggs have been layed how much water do i put in the vermiculite. And how do i add more water when it dries up without weting the eggs directly.

vermiculite should be not be so wet that you can wring water out of a handful of the stuff. when you put the eggs in leave a bigger gap at one end of the tub of vermiculite for you to add the water there away from direct contact with the eggs

Also worth leaving a sealed bottle of water in the incubator with the egg boxes so that when you add the water it is the same temp and the incubation environment.

You can put a bottle cap full of water inside the egg box, as it slowly evaporates it will keep the humidity up.
