Hello everyone,

I've just found out that i have to go away for a few weeks and have to leave in a few days. I have a baby corn (ive had her for about 3 months) and i have no idea who i can leave her with during this time as most of the people i could leave her with are away for the next few weeks as well. So im in a bit of a predicament.
My main concern is not having anayone there to feed her. At the moment she is on about one pinkie every 4 days. I think i have found someone to feed her for two of the three weeks. So there is just one week in which there is no one to feed her. How long can i safely leave her between feeds? would 7 days between feeds be too long?
Desperately need advice on this as i dont know what to do!

Thanks,
The_Con and Cherry Darling x

7 days without feeding shouldn't be a problem.
Just need to make sure she has nice fresh water though.

Many specialist pet shops will board reptiles when you go away. My lot go there if I am away for more than 2 days. Costs about £2 a day per snake. Gives peace of mind.

Snakes can go a long time without food it's true, but as Kehhlyr says, fresh drinking water must be available at all times.

Some snakes insist on defecating in there water dish. Obviously changing the water every day is extremely important.

Would you drink from your toilet after you'd used it? Shouldn't imagine it would do you much good!

Best to ask a local reptile supplier if they could board your snake for the time your away.
