Anyone tried feeding their animals Phoenix Worms?
A friend recommended them to me and they sound great.

Taken from : http://www.premiumcrickets.com/Phoenix-Worms_31.html

Here's why you will like this new premium feeder insect...

Phoenix Worms™ are ready to serve when you take them home. There's no need to dust or gut load these insects before feeding your pet. Phoenix Worms™ naturally have 23 to 61 times more calcium than other commonly fed feeder insects! (See the nutritional comparison chart for more info.)

There's no need to culture them.

There's no need to feed the food.

They stay fresh in their cup for weeks at room temperature.

They do not make noise.

They have no odor.

They will stay in a jar lid--no escapees in the house!

You're going to enjoy watching your pet discover this new food.

Here's why your pet will love Phoenix Worms™...

They wiggle intensely which excites and entices herps.

They taste good (a guess, but herps greedily consume them).

They come in four sizes to satisfy most pets, from darts to dragons.

They stimulate the appetite of animals that don't readily feed.

They may halt or reverse the effects of metabolic bone disease.**

I ordered some a couple days ago from http://www.roachshop.co.uk/ and can say im very pleased.
I emailed Albin with a general quiery and he replied quickly and was very helpful.
I ordered a tub of Small and Medium.
They arrived real quick and were packaged real well.
Unfortunatly the worms are a lot smaller than I expected so im going to try to grow them on a bit.
I will give some to the mossies, and let you know what they think.

Anyway, heres a few photos.

i wouldnt, not sure its even good for them and if a snake would get much nutritional value out of it, if you had a large snake it would need a lot to be the same as say a med rat

We used to sell these in the shop I did some work at, never had any complaints and they used them for their reps...I'd give it a go.

Having said that, you allmost certianly know more about reps then me lol

I think they actually look like some sort of maggot/waxworm hybrid.
Are they jawed like waxies?

got my phoenix worms today and not really that impressed i have to say... i ordered the large size for £6.90 i wasnt expecting super worm sized ones but they are quite alot smaller than most waxworms, they did arrive quite quickly and they were well packaged plus my beardie seems to like em so not all bad i guess, but overall i dont think i will be placing another order
