Ok, i have a question, was talking to someone about corn snakes, thos less that a year and told them mine was in a rub inside a viv, and got told that they can get out of these staples rubs? is this true? the one i have the lid clips down so i cant see how, but maye someone can enlighten me;-)

very unlikley for a young corn,maybe a adult could push it off unless it is the ones with the clips on the side that then clip over the lid,if your still concerned try putting a strap round.

Thank you guys...it is the one that clips over the lid, i thought it would be hard but had to check as i have cats and dont want my corn ending up inside Millies belly...

it's the gap between the top of the tub and the underneath of the lid that's potentially the problem. you can get the squishy sticky on draft-excluder stuff and put it around the top of the tub where the lid sits if you want to be really sure

Thanks GP, your always there with a minefield of info, would it freak her out if i put her into a 24x12x12 viv without the rub? I have plenty of hides and stuff for cover.

She is roughly 11 inches long, but real skinny, she was missing for a while, then came back so has a real skinny girth, i am now thinking i should move her rub into the other viv, as the one she is in has very strong mesh at the back, but i am worried now if she gets out she might sqeeze through the mesh.

I cant see a gap on it, from what i can see it is totally sealed..
