looks very much like mine, she's called Cassie and is about the same size, my first too. You should take it down to a decent reptile pet shop and they will probably be able to sex it for you.
:) thanks! yeah i think i may do that, but i'm not too bothered if it's a male or female to be honest heh. i can't wait until it's settled in so i can take it out a bit more and get better pics!:)

48hrs is the recommended amount, I feed mine every 5/6 days on 1 pinkie. Keep a record of your feeds and sheds as well in case you need a record if the snake gets unwell or to keep track of when it's been fed. I Handle mine for about 10-20 mins each day after the 48 digestion period from her feed. I'm pretty sure she knows me already as she seems more comfortable with me then strangers
