the juvie girls are too small to breed this time but i'm already thinking about possible pairings for next year. i've got (with no known hets)
3.0 snow, carolina, ghost
0.3 anery, carolina, striped amel

so i was thinking of pairing them up as follows
carolina-carolina (100% carolina, no hets)
ghost - anery (100% anery, 50% het hypomel)
snow - amel stripe (100% amel, 50% het stripe, 50% het anery/snow)
any thoughts/improvements/corrections?

See that's planning that GP- we are just pairing Cyd and Cornelius because they are both good looking so we'd expect good looking babies

What do you think?
Cornelius

I think:
ghost - anery (100% anery, 50% het hypomel) would be 100% Anery, 100% het for hypomel.
snow - amel stripe (100% amel, 50% het stripe, 50% het anery/snow) would be 100% amel het for anery, het for stripe.

It would be interesting to pair up your carolina with your snow to test for hets. Its what I plan on doing with mine when they are of breeding age as if the Carolina is:
Het anery = 50% anery het for amel and 50% het snow
Het amel = 50% amel het for anery and 50% het snow
Het snow = 25% snow, 25% anery het for amel, 25% amel het for anery and 25% het for snow.

Plently of interesting future breeding possibilities ^^

i'm not really bothered about hets which is why i don't know if any of mine have any! from a selling-on point of view hets are only worth paying for if you trust the vendor. the two i'd most likely change is the ghost-anery pairing and the snow-amel stripe if anyone has any thoughts on those?
i don't really want to produce too many carolinas by splitting up the carolina pair as they're generally seen as the 'less desireable' ones although anerys and amels are pretty common too.
might dig out any info on the hets the amel stripe and ghost might have to see if it makes things more interesting.

Ok then you clever people, i have no idea about the whole genology thing but i want to give breading a go next year, Here's a list of what i've got they should all be old enough next year, (sorry no idea of any hets or history) What do you think i should put together and what do you think i'll get.

Male Calolina x2
Male ghost stripe
Female Snow
Female Anery
Female Amel/poss sunglow (will be old enough but she's pretty tiny so may not be big enough)

I'm only gonna try one pairing first time round to make sure i can hatch the eggs safely before ending up with loads. Any input gratefully recieved.
