Hiya everybody. I've spent the last couple of weeks reading through previous posts and thought it was about time I registered and said hello. My name is Mark (Bud) and I'm currently building a new vivarium to home a new Corn Snake. Partly for my 10 year old daughter as a new pet and interest. I'm not gonna get a hatchling, sweet as they are. I think something a little more robust would be more suitable for my daughter. Also I'm building a 3ft viv which is going to be a little large to house a tiny hatchling. So I'm going to be looking for something from a yearling I think. Possibly even a couple of years old. Still haven't 100% decided what morph to look for yet.
I think that will do for now. I promise to post pictures of the new viv when its finished and of our new snake when we get him/her. You all better prepare yourself for the barrage of questions coming your way, but I'm sure I will be able to contribute too.

Thank you all for your warm welcome.........
I'm in Herts if anybody knows of any interesting adult corns available locally.
At the moment we're looking at maybe a Caramel, Butter, a Ghost possibly an Anery. I'd still consider a Normal if the colours are particularly striking. Really want one with bold markings. An aztec would be awesome. Sorry to say that we definately don't want an Amel. They just don't do it for me.
Oh and my daughter Nicole says hi too.

yeah i love butters both the morph and my own little darling i think in a year or two when she needs a bigger viv i might extend the family to include an anery aztec as they are class and as they all say on here the only thing to do with an empty viv is to get a new corn!!! |
