hi all my names rob and i"ve just got a carolina corn snake,shes 4 months old and seems to be settling into her new home ok.my son has named her ruby. we say her but we are not sure yet.
thanx i"ve got a question straight away! i"m feeding her for the first time today, her feeding record is great and i was told to take her out of her vivarium and feed her in a seperate container how long should i leave her after feeding until i put her back into the vivarium?
just give her a bit of time to push the mouse to the middle of her then you can tip the box slightly inside the cage so that the little darling can slither into the viv herself... that what i do with Ramesses anyway...
oh forgot to say that i usually leave it about 5 min after Ramesses has got the pinkie through his mouth... sometimes a bit less...
thanx for the welcome all,just to let you know that Ruby had her 1st pinkie today off me and it went perfectly, i"m "over the moon" as they say in the premiership-actually i"m more happy than that! thanq jono2411 & krazykerry although u don"t look krazy to me- just fit! probably need more advice soon so speak to u then.
